Assistant Director of Tennis - Kathy Zingler
Kathy has been a member of our staff since 2003 when she decided to leave the business world and devote her energy to teaching tennis fulltime.  She played competive junior tennis while growing up in Pittsburgh and received her BBA from the University of North Florida.  She was the head tennis coach at Severna Park High School for seven years and has three grown children.

Sandi Rosato - Tennis Professional
Sandi brings 20 years of teaching experience as well as having played 4 years collegiately at Auburn University. She previously worked at Salisbury Country Club in Richmond, VA where she was the Director of Junior Tennis. She also served as a senior Professional at the Tennis Center at College Park which has a very active junior program.

Andrew Caslon - Tennis Professional
Andrew is well known around this area. He grew up in Gambrills and attended Arundel High School. He attended Ohio State where he played competitive tennis for the Buckeyes and then went on to compete on the professional tour reaching a high of 840 in singles and 475 in doubles. He has been the Head Professional at API, in Gambrills and at the USNA Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis.

 

 

Chartwell’s Tennis Program is led by Jamie Peterson.  Jamie, a Maryland native, joined Chartwell in 2001 as the Director of Tennis, after working at several clubs in the Baltimore area including L’Hirondelle, Homeland and Orchard.  Jamie is a graduate of Towson State in Maryland with a degree in Sport Management.  He was named USTA Mid-Atlantic’sTournament Director of the Year in 2005,  has served  on the Mid-Atlantic USTA Board and competes on the national and regional levels.  Annually he coordinates one of the most prestigious regional clay court championships held at Chartwell.

Under Jamie Peterson’s direction, the Chartwell Tennis Program has grown enormously and it displays his energy, creativity and professionalism.

All Memberships provide equal privileges to the Member's spouse and dependent children under the age of twenty-one;  subject to applicable guest fees, unmarried children aged 21 through 25 shall have the use of those Club facilities to which their parent(s) are entitled.
